At Paddington Vet, we offer a full range of grooming, clipping, and washing services for dogs of all sizes and breeds. Regular grooming is an important part of pet care. Depending on the breed, age, and health of your pet, grooming may even need to be a part of your and your pet’s daily routine. Many breeds require less grooming than this, but regular grooming always helps to keep your pet healthy and comfortable.  Some breeds don't shed their hair effectively (eg. Poodles) and require grooming by a professional every 6-8 weeks.

Deshed Service

For pets with dense coats or heavy shedding. Includes a full hour of deshedding to reduce excess fur and promote coat health. â€‹

  • De-matting / Deshed: $105 per hour surcharge

Grooming Surcharge for Non-Regular Clients

For clients who do not maintain a regular grooming schedule, a surcharge may apply:

  • Small: $65 

  • Medium: $75 

  • Large: $85 

  • Extra Large: $95

​Note: Regular grooming is advised to maintain your pet’s coat. If your pet becomes matted, a de-matting surcharge will be incurred and assessed during the admission consultation.

Special Care for Anxious Pets

 

We offer extra care for pets that become stressed or anxious during grooming. For added comfort, we provide pre-treatment vet consultations (incurring a consultation fee) and medication if necessary to ensure a stress-free experience.

Paddington Vet Grooming Cancellation Policy

​

Our grooming calendar fills up quickly, so we enforce a the following cancellation policy:

​

  • Cancellation: Must be done 48 hours before the appointment.

    • Cancellation within 48 hours: Will incur 50% of the cost for the grooming appointment and a deposit of 50% of the cost for future grooming appointments (non-refundable).

    • No Show/Cancellation within 24 hours: Will incur 100% of the cost for the grooming appointment and a deposit of 100% of the cost for future grooming appointments (non-refundable).​

  • Late Arrival: Arriving 15 minutes or more late may require rescheduling. A $50 rebooking fee will apply, and a non-refundable deposit for future appointments will be required.
